Jeff Sicklick LNHA
Administrator
Jeff is not only the administrator of Bronx Center, he is a founding partner of Centers Health Care and the personal mentor to every administrator we have had, in every facility we own. That’s because no one embodies the Center’s credo of Heart, Health, Home more than Jeff. He leads by example and is never too busy for a resident, a family member, or an employee. He knows everyone by name and won’t let anyone with a problem, no matter how big or how small, leave before it is solved. Maybe it’s because he was raised that way, or because he came from a service-minded family, but Jeff is the kind of administrator that employees want to work with, and that families want taking care of their loved one. The Bronx Center is and continues to be, his creation.
Mike Vega LMSW
Director of Social Work
Michael Vega, LMSW serves as Director of Social Work at Bronx Center. Michael is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a Masters in Social Work. Always welcoming with a smile, “Mike” as everyone calls him, brings warmth, compassion, and 28 years’ experience to his work with residents and families. He believes in treating every resident with kindness, dignity, and respect and is dedicated to creating an environment where residents and families are valued, heard, and supported. A qualified and licensed social work professional, Mike provides supportive counseling, education, and guidance to our residents and their families. His leadership has helped Bronx Center foster a nurturing community where every residents well-being comes first.
Narine Salomone
Director of Nursing
Narine graduated from LaGuardia Community College, becoming an LPN. She then earned her RN from Excelsior College, followed by a BSN from the University of Texas at Arlington and an MSN from Chamberlain University, and recently completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice. Education is her mission. Nursing is her passion.
Pegeen Magalong PT
Director of Therapy
Pegeen joined the Bronx Center family in 2000 and made an immediate impact. Helping to oversee the physical, occupational and speech therapy unit here as well as the on-going in-service training that keeps our therapists up to date on the most current practices and protocols. But most important is the tone set by Pegeen in the therapy gym. Therapy can be difficult at times and the therapist and patient need to form a team, a personal bond, a commitment that will achieve their common goal together. That’s the attitude that Pegeen has fostered and our good outcomes in every aspect of therapy are testimony to how well it works. And even on the hardest workout days, there’s always one constant sound coming from the gym – laughter. Because success is fun!

For the absolute highest quality of care, Bronx Center staffs medical providers on each unit who stay in constant communication with leadership throughout the day. Team collaboration is our forte, and this commitment helps us maintain an unbeatable continuum of care.
Our team also works hard to keep therapies as consistent as possible, tracking all communications through an advanced electronic medical record system. This ensures immediate transmission of information across the entire care network.
